North Ferriby parking

Hi guys, as a Bath City fan, im thinking of going to watch them play North Ferriby next saturday in the FA trophy
I think i can get a load to Immingham on Friday night, then run to North Ferriby either Friday night or saturday afternoon to watch the game. any ideas on parking? i see theres an industrial estate just outside Ferriby, is that a good option?
Im sure some local drivers will know. Thanks.

The ind estate at Melton is a fair walk, (Think miles). The only thing I would suggest is park up early in the day near the top end of the high st, just past the schools, BUT DO NOT go past the shops as you might not be able to turn around due to traffic after the game and a low bridge further down the road.

Hi guys, as a Bath City

I suppose someone has to support the club

This is abit of messing about but maybe worth thinking about. You could stay on a63 come off just before M62 follow though to Gilberdyke park on industrial estate next to station then take train about 10 minute trip and 5 minute walk to football ground then back same way and onto M62 and home.

Could be a possibility… thanks

If you go the train route, check the times of the trains going back

The service stations on both sides of the A63 at North Ferriby both Have HGV parking and it’s only about 30 minutes walk to the ground from there.
Less if you cut across the field!

Parking used to be free but I guess that has changed now :frowning:

If you look on Google Maps for Witty Street, you can park up on any of the streets running off either side of it or West Dock Street/Goulton Street. Hessle Road running parallel to the north of it has shops/takeaways on it and the west end of Witty Street has an Asda.

From there it is literally a 5 minute walk to the stadium on Walton Street.

Conor, the OP was asking about parking in North Ferriby

Yes but maybe because they’re not aware of any in Hull and there is more chance of some there with not having to walk down a dual carriageway to catch a train. Witty Street is only an additional few miles round trip from the bridge. Its certainly a better option than North Ferriby.

Be aware the westbound BP garage is havingIits truck park repaved and os currently closed. Melton industrial estate would be your best bet. If you cut through north ferriby on your walk, it’ll take twenty minutes.

If it were me id park on the industrial estate at Melton and walk back through the estate and through Ferriby, if your a fit lad it wont take you long.

Thanks for all your replies and suggestions.
Certainly gave me a lot to consider.
Melton Ind est looks promising as i dont mind a walk.
I take it its restriction free? google maps shows it as half built, so i dont know how old the satellite view is. i see theres a pub, handy for lunch

Yeah the pubs called the Sandpiper it does good food or if you fancy a chippy theres one on Low street in Ferriby, and its a good one. Just ask anyone and they will tell you where it is. The industrial Estate will be quiet over night and as far as I know there are no parking restrictions.

Heron’s food RDC is there so no worries about parking.good luck and enjoy
