Just been listening to the news about the events in algeria and it sounds like our goverment is gearing up for a new front in “the war on terror”. we have been in afgahnistan for over ten years , how long will this one last i wonder.
more bloodshed and more billions to be spent i fear.
where will it all end.

I was talking to a friend of mine who is still involved in some aspects of miliary life and he has heard that 2 units from 22 Squadron are on the floor there. We will just have to wait and see but my heart goes out to the families of those that have lost their lives in this. God Bless and may you RIP.
doubt it. We won’t/cant do long term operations without American support and the Americans are war weary.

More like the empire was a mistake by long gone previous generations and no suprise that those natives in the empire,who shouted loudest,for their ‘independence’,were the first ones to leave their ‘independent’ countries,to live here.After following generations made the even bigger mistake of an open door immigration policy.

Maybe you haven’t noticed yet but there’s a bunch of racist muslims who want to wipe us out because we don’t believe in their religion.That’s why us and the US don’t really have much choice just as we didn’t in the case of WW2. 
Brits have been killed and taken hostage in the area, I think we are already there.
Where will we get the troops from they have paid off half of them.Eddie.

Some of the laid off squaddies will be given the chance to apply for their old jobs at a reduced rate of pay of course.Its happened in other industries.

It is a global fight between eastern and western ideologies, basically they have not forgiven us for the crusades. But if they are left to grow strong it won’t be long before they are knocking on the door.

Maybe it’s just another symptom of the loony pc idea of globalisation and free movement and integration of different nations and cultures that should remain in their own geographic areas of the world as nature intended.As it stands ‘they’ are already knocking on the door because of our open door immigration policy over the years.
Nah, looks like the French are copping for the bulk of the dirty work, you might get a yank carrier turn up and drop a few bombs and maybe we will send some drones or fire off a few cruise missiles, but doubt we will put any troops in.
Multi culturism would be a grand idea if, both sides the indiginous population and the come overs both want to sign up to it.
