Well yes, I have had a drink, but not so much as to think everyone on this forum has a high paying job, or there aren’t people looking for work, and might be prepared to make a phone call. And no, I’m not getting anything for passing on the information!
Easy to criticise if you’ve got a job! And unless you know for certain it’s a con, it might be wiser to let others less cynical than yourself, make up their own minds.
Personally, if I was looking for work, given the state of the economy, I’d be thankful that others were prepared to pass on such information. Heaven forbid, it might lead to paid work.

Their website shows 343 jobs on 69 pages, after looking at the first 14 pages they are the same jobs advertised over and over again. C+E at £7.50 and 3.5t at £6.20.
Like similar outfits you will be asked to register and never hear from them again.
What we really need is a driver vacancies forum

But you obviously don’t need work either… or maybe if you did, you wouldn’t be quite so cynical about a possible chance of work.
I don’t know if it’s a kosher deal or not, but it won’t cost very much to find out will it…

agency’s only phone you in an emergency might be 1 day a week it might be 1 day a month. But in all fairness it could be a extra day or more a week for somebody who might only have 3days a week with other agency’s at the moment. Crap pay but you got to start at the bottom to get to the top

Some years ago when they “needed C+E drivers” I phoned Contract Personnel at Thetford and each it wasn’t convenient to have an interview then, they were busy.
I think they have been advertising the same old jobs for the past five years.
At around the same time (2006) I registered with an agency and never heard from them. When I rang them I was told there was no work in my area, this was without the person even knowing who I was and where I lived.
I prefer to work with one company on a casual basis, it is much easier and you are one of them rather than the “agency bloke”.
