If it’s where I think it is, it’s just come off a roundabout

A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokesman said: 'The incident happened just after a roundabout. The lorry was in the outside lane on the dual carriageway, with the Nissan Micra in the inside lane.

I guess the car would be in the blind spot whilst switching lane.

Yes, if you put the steering wheel on the wrong side of anything it’s clearly dangeroous.

Unobservant driver then

I’ve been stuck on the A34 for nearly 4 hours :imp:

What happens with the caravans is he came off the ■■■■■ fast left & the trailer goes on 2 wheels-right side.He straightens up & it bounces back & goes over -left side as he was passing the car.The truck just leans a bit,the silly dangler falls over. ■■■■■■ caravans! I drove one for DeRooy…junk!

Your all wrong, his planner rang him “drop the trailer ASAP” got a collection for you…

He did a cracking job of dropping it, I must say…

To be fair, it wasn’t a dressing table on the 34. It was an ex stobart wagon and drag. Right mess too

According to ITV, it was a car transporter :open_mouth: unless they have changed that on the website now, other half was going the other way, said it looked bad, but was relieved to hear the driver was ok.

Easy to see really ! … the prime mover is still upright, if it was an artic then the whole thing would be on it’s side.

It was an old X reg with a box body and box trailer. It may have well been a transporter, but I didn’t see any cars in there. The wagon was ripped apart but the box was complete, just on its side

A34 has a roller-coaster effect on trucks & truckers with all the ups & downs & bends. Many trucks have come to grief on this road.
