Noone Transport & Caffrey International

hook:
Irish companies wages are worse than uk companies

Very sweeping statement there hook dont you think? Sure, some are, some arent.
Irish historically were better paid on continental work in my opinion, though not sure what the craic is now.
I know some Irish supermarket boys would be on double the average UK drivers wage, for less than 40hrs pw.
Some are better,some are worse.
Cost of living is higher here though in my opinion.

Agree could name 3 companies of the top of my head doing euro work where you will take home over 900 euro a week, the work is generally easier than local work and the hours working are less although you can be away for as long as you want. At current exchange rate 950 euro equals £800 don’t know how that compares to UK euro work, but compared to local jobs near me nothing will come close.

id say that compares very nicely with a bit on top despite what the limper warriors spout about their mega shift pay on here.
thatl stop between january and easter when they are all away to thailand ■■■■■■■ it up on the beach for 4 month.
its a tad more costly in the south than living in lots of the uk ,but the win win situation for that is if you live close enough to the border to get paid in euros and do your big shop in the north.

The word is 120 euros a day after everything paid to earn 900 you take your 48 out so paid 7 days standard across the board with most but some don’t pay 48 plenty of time on your hands to spend money
Not a lot money for lot of days

The three that I know off the figure is after tax one paying 145 euro a day and the other two over 130.

These do get about though. Mont Blanc.

When I weekend in a Budapest truckstop a couple of years back there was two Caffrey units and trailers, the drivers were not Irish though, more of a EE vibe whilst they stood there in just speedo’s and flip flops as it was summer   . Seen them all over the place.

I heard Caffrey always paid the lowest rate sometimes shocking what they pay
Its always a not to good a sign when a company employs tourists they can’t get the cream for what they pay

Money chaser:

Agree but can involve a lot of waiting around but mostly one hit, O’Toole is a good option too although if you don’t like fish then give it a miss.
