I passed my test last friday. I have been applying for jobs and the good old agencies seem very keen but i am not so keen. Today i got a call from a Nottngham depot asking me if i am available for an interview. I have done non stop applications but the morrell of the story is too keep applying newbies it will pay off. I have had 3 replies so far but i am gonna keep applying
Good for you, carry on as you are & knock on doors-ffs stay away from agencies, you’ll end up hating the job before you even start…good luck:)
I guess it depends on the agency… I been with the same agency since passing class 1 in january im pretty happy they gave me a 40 hour minimum contract too so I get 8 hours a day even if im not required… ive been offered a position at one of the places I work for but on zero hours contract so told them polity where to stick it.
There are a lot that ■■■■ you about tho the agency I dealt with when I done my class 2 were nobs that I wouldnt recommend giving the time of day if you have a choice, even tho they are one of the biggest in central scotland and edinburgh.
Well done you,zero hours would be O.K.for a semi-retired person who just wants an outing from time to time.

Yep I can vouch for that, wish I had taken the offer of a full time job now from a local firm but NO I went with a Fracking Agency!
