Dyfed-Powys police have regular blitzes on them; trouble is that in true West Wales fashion Nolans always get tipped off.
We usually get to hear about the plod being in the cattle market all day about a week before it happens. Inevitably they catch a few, but I suspect the majority are pre-warned and park up.

Amazing the amount of bull that goes around about some companies. I know for a fact this isn’t true.
And a very bad piece of reporting, repeating itself, and not adding the correct grammar…now to the nitty gritty…
Nolan has done a crafty by saying the charts are missing, and practically blaming the drivers. These eastern blockers are desperate for a job, so will only do as they are told anyway. The crux of the matter is they only got fined for not producing records, As i have always advocated, you cannot get nicked for the evidence they havnt got, not that i`m advocating any wrong doing, but as each chart has a potential for a minimum 6 offences, then multiply that by how many drivers, and then multiply by £3000, the amount of the fine, and you can see how much they have got away with, and havnt even touched their licence.
Judge O Buachalla was told the firm’s board has 14 directors, all with the surname Nolan, none of who were in court. He noted Nolan Transport’s non-appearance and set a fine of €3,000 in each of the 30 cases, ordering the hauliers to pay an additional €195 in expenses
Says it all really , the people ’ running’ Nolans couldn’t care less

I’m not about to defend nolan in any shape or form but I know a fair bit about jimmy nolan and clan and would be as sure as i am about anything else that this isnt true, mind you I have been sure before and wrong !
I know how you know them and so you could be right but, i have heard he was by two drivers a friend who is a haulier from Carlow and a sawmill owner in that area.
