Nobby offer 2.75% pay increase

Accept or not?

I’d be surprised if I get that much so I’d say yes in the present climate

depends on if it is there first opening offer or an offer after lots of negotiation.
if a first offer then I would imagine that they have budgeted for a larger increase

I think there is a £150 cash payment on top of the offer as well

cash offer on top makes me think that they are “buying something” off the contract and thats going to be to their benefit and not the drivers, but without full details how can anyone give proper advice?

Is this a yearly deal or over 2 years? If its yearly id say they is a pretty decent offer.

In the current climate I think anybody getting a pay rise is doing well. I`ve had a single 1% insult in the last three years!

That’s about what we got but we also got 5 extra days holiday.

current inflation at 3.3%, do the sums…it’s a pay cut!
but, as others are saying…in the present climate

Present climate, it’s not bad rise if you ask me!

Certainly better than a kick in the nuts.

And all of these views show clearly why you’re not on train drivers money. Don’t forget to tug your forelocks lads…

What is the alternative?
