Maybe they just wanted rid of the idiot, but if it had been me, I would have called the police and said that he is behaving very oddly and might be under the influence of something. I might also have told them that there was no rush.
As said above - these twerps, both here and in the US will claim that they are not subject to the law, but will happily use the law to stop officials from retaliating.
Whilst here was there throwing accusations of assault around, If I was a VOSA bod, Id have snuck round the other side of the wagon and loosened a few wheel nuts, removed a few bulbs etc…

I found that very enjoyable to be honest. Yes the driver was a bit pompous but he didn’t rise to their jibes. They wouldn’t have snuck round the other side and loosened a wheel nut because they wanted rid of him.
Like has been said, lots of government agencies are happy filming us, chest cams but aren’t so happy when we try to do the same. And they think we’re a load of thicko neanderthals.
Just as a point of interest, you are allowed to film in a public place, but is a VOSA test station a public place, or private property.

I would think it’s private property but I’d be surprised if you wasn’t allowed to film there, the VOSA bloke was a bit temperamental about being filmed but that didn’t have any impact on the drivers behaviour, he was behaving like a jerk before that.
I’m in favour of people standing up for their rights and you certainly have the right to question any authority if you think they’re doing something wrong, but these people go out of their way to aggravate people then film them, then whenever anyone goes near them they start shouting about assault.

It was a very hairy moment when the DVSA Supervisor touched his hand, I’d even bet a little bit of pee escaped at that point 
Pity this knob was not doing middle east, oh boy, he’d still be in the slammer and assault would be the least of his problems!

It will be classed as public, since its paid for by the public, staffed by public servants.
Thank the good Lord i don’t do RDC’s, imagine being stuck in a pig sty waiting room and listen to that nob gobbing off, be a roomful of drivers considering ending it all after about an hour.

A previous post intimated he was please he was showing there were two sides to being filmed, well this chap takes a staring role in prize ■■■■■ What is the point of first of all filming all this ‘filler’ and secondly does he not have things to get on with. I very often see Quayside near Angers, so he better crack on!

Reminds me of a bloke at work, not a good word to say about anyone or anything related to the job constantly moans about everything and then calls us all ignorant because no will talk to him. The guy who made this video is a first class tool.

This is why vosa are the way they are you get some knob head winding them up and they take out on the next driver which could be you or me. Exercise your rights but this bloke just took it far to far imo
