No wonder some are confused on the regs!

The LGV theory test questions and answers has the following -

A drivers week is defined as
Amongst the options there is the correct answer - 0.00 hours Monday to 24.00 hours the following Sunday

GREAT  that tells them what a week is but then there is another question…

Under EC rules your daily rest can be reduced to 9 but NOT more often than
Amongst the options there is what they class as the correct answer - 3 days per week

Those that have done the theory now believe that they are correct when they say that only 3 reduced daily rests can be taken per week and not between weekly rest periods

Some might say that it makes the test easier but what is the point of that if the answer is wrong ?

Good point as ever ROG, have you pointed this out to them?

Scarab:
Good point as ever ROG, have you pointed this out to them?

If I did then I would probably get the run around and they will probably say that they need to make it ‘simple’
Might make a few calls tomorrow

No point being simple if the outcome is wrong.

A wrong clock is right twice in 24 hours

Called Pearsons/DSA and they were most interested - they checked the question along with the answers and then checked the EU regs… they admitted verbally that the answers are incorrect and said they would look into changing those answers at the next re-issue of the various material.
