Seems much safer now.
Noticed since Xmas no Deer between M25 and Chelmsford.
Has anyone eaten them?
Aye we had a couple, stuffed one in the freezer and t’other we ate the day after. Not bad tasting once the remains of the Michelin had burned away in t’oven but we still had to pick pieces of steel wire out, probably wont bother with them again to be honest.
Pete.
Nowt wrong with a bit of road kill, but cook it slowly with some water in the tray and cover with foil until the last half hour. Not as nice as the shot venison but a whole lot cheaper.
Have you noticed more roadkill on roadsides since Willi Betz trucks not so common.
One of our trucks when I drove for Nisa got hit by a stag near Drummochter Summit area on the A9 and it wrote of almost half of the cab on the passi side, definitely not driveable !
There was a cpl yest afternoon between the slip and the main road at j26 m25 munching away happily just yards from the road
I was in a layby a while ago on that road, a farmer type knocked on my door to ask if i wanted 4 hinds of venison for £10…do you think that was too dear. ( deer )
What do you call a deer with no eyes? No Idea
What do you call a dead dear with no eyes? Still no idea
Taxi…

They’re all on the A11 new Dual Carriageway stretch from Mildenhall to Thetford.
I’m serious!
We pulled into a picnic area in Spain and saw a deer. So decided to keep really still so as not to scare it off. We sat in the car admiring the beast from a distance. Some time later a Spanish family pulled into the layby and drove down to where our deer was moseying about. Instead of running off the deer didn’t bat an eye lid, the bloody thing was tame.

Were they wearing deerstalker hats?
