got to work on monday after 2wks hols got given different motor merc actros space cab, only problem is the nightheater it fires up but does not heat the cab,it just takes the chill off no more i spoke to our fitter who said that as good as it gets.any idears.
You need to set the cutout tempreture, its in section 8 on the dash computer or can be activated by pressing the bottom of the dashboard night heater switch. The dash should light up and then you scroll through to the temp setting using the steering wheel buttons, have mine set at 27’c.
If you need the heater to run continuosly, make sure the ignition key is in the first position before switching the heater on, or it will go off after two hours.
…and they take 3 times as long before you get any effect as a non built in one.
Make sure you don’t cover the screen vents with maps, paper work etc. when you prepare for bed as much of the heat comes out of these. It also helps to make sure the dash vents are open.
