Not that this affects me because i get my night out money cash in hand 
but spoke to a driver friend of mine today who seems to think he’s being taxed on his night out money, now i’m no expert but i was always led to believe it was tax free upto a certain amount. Can anyone clarify this for me please
He might be getting OVER that amount, in which case, some of it is taxable.
I think HMRC guides are in the region of 23 quid a night tax free, but some companies have an agreement for more.
He’s on 22 a night but the way it appears on his wage slip leads him to think he’s taxed on it. Think he’ll have to look deeper into it, cheers for the reply
