You can get 12v heaters as well as 24v.

your cab is just a metal tin; get some tar-poll sheeting or a market trader sheet and cover the cab out side with it
most of the heat is loset through the glass so if you can get some bubble wrap and card and cover them inside and out sideand one of those camper gas heater put next to the window with the window open
Many years ago my night heater packed in and I happened to have a camping stove with me. I awoke one morning at a truck stop in the north of England freezing my goolies off and lit the stove just to take the chill off… Next thing I knew I was in a hospital recovering from Carbon monoxide poisoning.

Technically, on a coach that is is called a “sanitising heat evaporator”, and is designed to burn off the smell of the old folks’ urine.

You fit a 12v night heater.
You can also get Webasto heaters for small boats.

No, I’m afraid I don’t understand why, a night heater won’t discharge a healthy set of batteries even if you leave it running all night, it uses a fair amount of power until it fires up, after which all you are doing is running a fan.

It uses sod all electrons and sod all motion potion, I love night heaters especially when its -10 outside.
