How many years at University and how many degrees do you need to sit round a table, look at a map of the East Midlands and decide to close the 42 at the M1 and the A50 westbound at Derby at the same time?

Try coming out of London heading for Southampton or Bournemouth when they close the M3, M4 and A3 on the same night.
Best I had, was gong from Dartford to Somerset via M25 over the top. Got to M11 and found M25 closed and detour was south on M11, then right on North Circ.
Then found North Circ closed at Fore St tunnel, and no access to A10 N/bound

You’ve missed the worst of it 12-24 months ago when they used to cut the entire country in half every night along with closing all the alternatives as well. You also want to be running up to Scotland when they close the A1 at Scotch Corner and Gateshead, the A19, the M6 and then they’ll throw in a M60 closure as well just for fun.
