Nicest place you've been too

Just wondering, all of you drivers go all about round and about. What’s the nicest place you’ve been to and where’ve you been??

Nicest place I’ve been too I have to say is Loch lomond in a bulk tipper with grandad. Next top spot has got to be the countryside around Yorkshire with dad

Cheers

Pretty much anywhere in Sweden but in particular the building at Stockholm-Arlanda Airport where they train Swedish air stewardesses. Nuff said.

Many places in France & Spain were very nice, especially Villaviciosa & Finistere, anywhere in the Pyrinees or Picos De Europa but nevertheless my personal favourite has to be Ullapool, closely followed by Lochinver. Beautiful places & surroundings, incredibly friendly people & great pubs & eateries. Really miss weekending in Ullapool!

Lake Como and Venice. Going again next week on holiday. You can all a fark orf for 2 weeks!

Like Bigvern Lake Como and Venice are nice, but I used to love it around Hawes when multi dropping

I used to deliver street lighting to local councel depots all over the UK about 22 yrs ago now the best ones being Snowdonia National Park and a lot of the depots in Scotland were all out in the sticks, i used to have some very lonely nights out. But unfortunetly they shut one by one. :frowning:

best places ive had a night out was at the crinan basin at the end of the crinan canal in scotland, or right on the sea front at swanage ,

for me in great britain it would be campbelltown what a stunning drive that was, many places in italy lake garda spent a few weekends there. i loved spain upstairs downstairs at nules wasnt to bad either    korithas canal in greece was stunning

Switzerland was OK

Also I love Norway and Scottish Highlands and Islands.

As i live in Lappland in am a little spoilt for ‘‘nicest places’’ as everything is so nice.Plus i live near santa claus[ok,he don’t give me bugger all,but i live in hope]
But if i have to choose ‘‘nicest places’’ i think i would say that anywhere i Devon and Cornwall must be at the top of the list, along with Istanbul.Mike

The nicest place i have driven is around in a truck the Isle of Man sea veiws and mountains great all round drive

Belgium is my faveourite place the people are so friendly and when you park near villages the residents do not have a go at you and they are quite nice in the local pubs even the police when you buy them a beer
