Not my cuppa tea, but to each his own. Seen a couple of these pulling 45’ trailers (T cabs too) and wondered how it’s legally possible.
When I was on holiday in Canada BC saw some with the same size living quarters, the only difference was they had long bonnets to go with it,they where enormous looking motors.
RIPPER:
If it was my money Id have the R500 and have her white and blue as you can see below “Irish Spec” or Paddy spec" as every Irish Scania is white and blue with lamps on the roof [emoji23]. Oh and dont forget the white and blue Chereau fridge.

Each to their own regarding colour schemes but the living space doesn’t care what colour it is

Nice to do a few weeks away on Euro in an outfit like that (apart from the ostentatious/bad taste crap painted all over it )
I don’t know why all trucks don’t have longer sleepers these days…, just change the length laws ffs.
Be wasted on a trip to Tesco rdc.s everyday though.
My living space is great, 3 bedrooms, toilets, showers, kitchen, garden etc.
Why anyone would want to live in a recycled sardine can whilst providing free security for the boss overnight is beyond me
I have seen the Stuart Nicol Transport one waiting in Bilbao port and he had just been to Marbella, there was not enough room on the boat for him so off to France he went. So he was definitely getting some time away in that so the cab space must have been nice, I think they look a bit odd though but that’s just because we are used to ‘small’ cabs.
can we now have someone posting the usual pish about if he is driving a truck like that, his wages wouldnt be enough to feed a biafran for a week with beans?
itl fit the profile better if your driving a poverty sec heap on a night trunk or rdc work.thankyou.
Will it fit on an 8 wheel tipper chassis, ideal for our Essex/London/Kent tipper fleets?
I’m sure I saw something very similar to this at Rownhams about a couple of years ago - unit only and it looked like a 6 wh tipper chassis had been used (at a guess).
Be more room in there than all these new build houses. And probably cheaper.
Housing crisis solved
Now, lets give this to Robroy and see if it looks the same after going under trees, down tight lanes and into farms around Devon. …
What’d you mean it can’t go more than 2 miles from a motorway with south west England and Scotland etc out of range.
Ok, we’ll have to park at Northampton services on M1…ah, that could be an issue.

It’s 4M high, so lower than many of our home grown trailers.
It’s the same width as our trucks.
The only difference is approx 3 or 4ft extra on the chassis. It’s got a tag axle which when raised would give a wheelbase roughly the same as one of our 6 wheel twin steer or pusher outfits, so manoeuvrability would be about the same.
The only drawbacks as I see it is it’s not legal with the overall length, and it’s a Scania. Other than that it’s all good.

It looks bloody great, the exact colour code Id pick. Super job.

Yeh but this thread is for ‘‘Proper’’ truckers who do the job as it’s meant to be done …, not for wannabe amateurs who ‘‘Just play at it’’ .

I spoke to him last week and he told me that he’s developed a cunning plan to deal with your Saturday breakfast demands. Can’t say too much. Loose lips and all that
