Afraid so…went in to get a costa coffee the other week, gave them my shell card to record my visit…“sorry mate, we don’t take them anymore” 
Apparently now owned and run by Welcome Break not Shell…but it’s still Shell fuel you would fill up with…go figure 
Welcome break is now owned by the spanks, Hence why they have made more parking at corley, and rothwell opened, The Ventura Capitalist can see a money making opportunity.
Did notice that they now take key fuels cards.
The same with Fleet services, i noticed a week or 2 ago that the signs had changed and a keyfuels sign has appeared [emoji106][emoji106]

After the fire at fleet, when they banned trucks, I would only stop there to give them back what they gave me. Total S**T
Welcome break fuel stations are gradually being taken over by an Irish company called Applegreen. They already run a lot if filling stations off the motorway. I don’t know what cards they will accept etc. Charnock Richard is on the list to be changed soon
