I remember many years ago (ahem) when Newmarket services were built,and it was understood at the time that they had to provide some parking for HGV’s (as they were known then).So they did,albeit only half a dozen spaces.
Friday morning I was on my way from Liverpool to Colchester via the A14 and thought I’d pull in at Newmarket to use the toilet and buy a newspaper.
The signs on the A14 approaching the said services displayed parking,food,toilets,fuel etc. only when I pull in there,there is no parking for trucks!!
Is’nt that contrary to the Trades Description Act ■■
Why don’t they just put up a sign like they do at all the other Little Chef’s…
