Hi How do you go about getting work if you are a newly qualified class 2 driver in fife?
Well I’m going to have my theory on this tested quite soon, but in my book… Comb your hair, polish your safety boots and knock on every transport office door, offering a copy of your cv until you get a lucky break or a call back. That’s my plan anyway

Add to that:
Make ‘friends’ with the people you do get to see. Be enthusiastic, ask about their business, etc. If they don’t offer you a job, ask them who they suggest you call on. Get some business cards made with your name, licence type and phones number on. If you have a clean licence, put that on too. Dish them out everywhere.
Dress tidily but take your work gear with you in case they need someone there and then.
If you are still looking in a couple of weeks, go back and see the people you have seen before.
Repeat the above as often as necessary.
