They pay above average for the Wakefield area however as far as I know from my limited experience on agency there and from what I have heard on here and a few that work for them they are a dreadful company to work for.
They make the likes of maritime and stobarts as well as the local £9 per hour lot look like caring employers.
There is an Irish bloke who works/worked for them in a fairly senior management position who had been sacked for ■■■■■■ harassment at Next, Tesco and IKEA but seems to be getting on just fine with Newcold

Last I heard Wakefield were paying around £12-£12.50 well above the area average.
I remember when it opened much excitement locally and a lot of drivers wanting to get in.
I know loads that went and have gone and left to go back to the £9 an hour mobs,
Unless you can get on at Asda or Royal Mail etc West Yorkshire is a very poor place for decent jobs,the odd old school haulier still exists that treat you well like mine but on average pay.
What the problem is now in this area drivers are rolling over and expecting to be treated like rubbish as if it’s normal,if my firm packed in and I couldn’t get on at one of the rdc type places I’d have to pack in as I wouldn’t want to work for any of them
I can’t see the issue , if xpo go from Easton there’s loads of well paid employment in that area as moaster has been telling me for years !!!

Suicidal? I think your definition of suicidal and my definition probably vary a tad. Unlike you I’m employable so if it closes I work elsewhere. Simple really. What would have made me suicidal though would have been if you’d ever made it to interview stage at Easton. Funny how you didn’t isn’t it?
