Newbie Tacho Question previous work

Ladies and Gents.

As a newbie getting occasional work via agency.
Last time I used my tacho card was for 1 shift on 20/10/17 card was downloaded at the end of the shift.
I have a tacho shift tomorrow, when I insert the card its going to ask if I want to do a manual entry,
This week (Since 00:01 Monday) I did 9 hours of car shunting/delivery Monday, 6 hours of classroom induction Tuesday. Nothing today.
Do I need to account for those periods on manual entry or does my timesheet/work diary cover that. I can account for all my work/rest hours. Or do I just plug in the card put it on other work, do my checks etc and get on with the day ?

Do a ‘?’ From when you last used your card until you next use it. In the UK the question mark is unknown but presumed to be rest but it also leaves it open for your timesheets to fill in the gaps
