Newbie (sort of) Class C looking for reputable NW agency

Hi, Its been 25 years since I last drove HGV and am looking for a career change. I have Class C and live in Wigan. I have had a medical, got photocard licence, digitacho card on way and dcpc nearly completed (4/5 days done).

Im looking for a NW agency that actually has work and can be trusted. Any recommendations please?

If beneficial to my employability I don’t mind doing other cpd courses (e.g Hiab). Any ideas?

Think the absence of sensible replies says it all mate, the way you put the question influenced the answers :bulb:
The general concencus (and actual fact :unamused: ) is that there ain’t no such animal as an agency you can trust, the phrase ‘Trustworthy agency’ is a contradiction in terms a bit like Wigan Athletic or Military Intelligence :smiley: .
Just try one of the local ones at random, or why try them at all?
Why not go round the local haulage firms and let them both meet you and see how keen you are, first and good impressions can and do go a long way. If it was me I would underplay the 20+year absence bit and concentrate on the positives like your past experience.
