Newbie reduced daily rest question

my agency have just asked me to do a day shift tomorrow and saturday and then a night shift starting sunday at 00.00. assuming the day shift tomorrow is 8 hours starting at 07.00 and saturday ( im told will be a short shift ) starting at 08.00, maybe 5 hours. am i right in thinking that as long as im finished by 15.00 saturday then i can start again sunday 00.00 because i will have had a reduced daily rest of 9 hours?

YES legally - as long as your weekly rests are ok by doing that

If too tired to drive NO - only you can judge that one

as mentioned the other day i have no trouble sleeping in daylight hours. so i cant see tiredness being an issue as long as im left alone for about 6 hours at home. :slight_smile:
