Newbie on container truck

vwgpmk2:
If you type Emma Rhone into google it comes up with a facebook page. Is this her?

Are you being a perv lol

You said she was fit so just wondered if this was her

SalopDrive1976:
Thinking this is too good to be true,a fab job etc I had a look at a place called cdc for some bits and bobs, coffee maker, microwave,tv and some smallier bits,a grand total of £1085.62,I called her just before 11 this morning, her reply was “No problem, does the other guy need the same” I guess so I replied, just checked my bank and she has kindly put in £1100 !!
I called the other driver and same with him ! We are both over the moon, not only a half decent wage for a “driver” but also looked after !

This has got to be a wind up . The job and all your post.

SalopDrive1976:
Will the delivery notes with the goods, address etc on be collected from the same place I get told what bay to collect the boxes from be the same place?..Will they say the weight, and do they also say which box to drop/unload first?

Paperwork, is different between firms, but it should always have the weight on it.

Other than that, I think the rest will be down to the planner to be honest, like I said, they won’t want the drag sat on a bay for 4hrs when it only took 30 mins to tip, but the wagon container is a long tip.

Experience, you start to know which jobs are long and which are short, but you still get caught out sometimes, and sometimes you just don’t know.

Not at all chap.I have not posted the wage on offer, but will say this,I worked for a very big company in the office and we didn’t pay our drivers this sort of money,no I will tell you as I have nothing to hide nor care what people think as I was asking for advise, the basic is £150 per day plus we get £30 per night when we sleep in it.We both have to give her an invoice for the work carried out in that week, this will then be paid direct in to our banks.
The truck is a Daf and they are 2 years old.
If you saw her set up you would understand.Being a nosey git I am I checked out the house prices website, her house was bought in 2009 for £3,7500,00.
She had a little sporty car parked up with the number plate RHONE (R11ONE),ok that car wasn’t nothing special but the Merc 4x4 with Emma on (EMM4) looked the works plus an Aston but can’t remember that plate, think it was something live B3nny,but can’t remember …
So no not a wind up.

good luck with the job but on tht mune reakon yr w and d will be loaded with coke n runing on 02

I don’t think she would be happy with you putting her reg numbers onto a forum. Have a think :unamused: :unamused: :unamused: :unamused: :unamused: :unamused: :unamused:

Just read this and I find it hard to believe…not the job details but the fact that somebody would be indescreet enough to post personal and financial details of somebody else [not only that…but their employer!!!] on a freely accessible website, I would guess without their permission. It doesn’t take a genius to realise that as soon as your employer s find out about this, they are likely to take [shall we say] a dim view of it!

Even worse, now the posts have been quoted, you can’t remove it!!!

I will remove it when he requests me to. This day and age you don’t go round putting private information onto a forum of your boss’s cars and how much the house is worth. Anybody can read this forum who likes to commit burglaries and go and help themselves with her cars, or with her!.

Either way, it is nice to hear people land on there feet, but have a think about what you put down.

I dont live far away from Ludlow think i’ll apply when the job comes up

i dont live far from ludlow either
but how long will a job in containers last, paying a driver £180 a day and the truck might only earn £300 to £400 wheres the diesel going to come from and all the other costs,
sorrry for being negative, but she hasnt done her maths, and however much money shes got,she wont be wasting it on trucks

Perhaps she has a fantasy for truckers

they wont be there to play either,5 nights out on a layby on the A 34 lol

For a very long unloading,i would take off on my bike, and ring the depot when they were finishing, some hand ball loads take all day,as they have to count it all and check for damages and valid dates on some items.
With a good door lock, there was no need to pay for parking.

eh?

Well how did it go for this office worker in a big truck this week ■■
Monday,Left Ludlow for S’ton, collected 2 loaded boxes for Wigan.
Tuesday,Tipped Wigan then headed back to S’ton for 2 full ones.Loaded them for Hove and Brighton.
Wednesday drove back to S’ton and loaded for London, tipped and ran back to S’ton.
Thursday they had me tipping 4 boxes local and then loaded 2 more for Telford and Shrewsbury.
Friday, tipped Telford at 9am,tipped Shrewsbury at bang on noon, truck back in Ludlow for 1pm and I was in my house by 2pm.
Money…■■?..I zapped her an invoice for 5 days and 4 nights and I checked by bank on line this morning and it’s in there !
So I guess it is an easy number, and decent money.

By my reckoning she’s not done bad for a hobby…

Doubled you up 3 times, 4 locals, and back by midday.

She must be pretty fit
