Hi all
just passed my cat c 2 weeks ago. I been a motorcycle or van courier since the 1980s so thought I would do my hgv as your all earning £20 an hour plus!!!
I got a question about loading a half load of paper on pallets. It say show me where on the lorry I would load it.
Now my question is I could load it between middle of axles 2 abreast which I believe is correct but is this the only correct way? Could I not load it in 2 separate loads over both axles or in a single line lengthways down the middle of loading area?
Welcome!
I was told load from the rear axle forwards towards bulkhead, keeping it central down the middle , for stability.
As regards to £20 per hour, really?
We’d all like to know where you can earn that much lol

Congrats on the pass, Good luck for next week
As I take paper on a regular basis, I would load one pallet at the front then two by two from then on back keeping an eye on the front axle. But then again that is how I would load it, it may be different from the VOSA view.
Thanks for replies. I was jokin about £20 an hour of course I know it’s more than that!
So is loading a half load 2 abreast in between axles the wrong answer for my mod 4?
It’s the only question im not 100% on. Or is any of the answers above ok?
