As hard as you make it!
If your willing to put the time in and go actively job hunting round firms then you’ll get a chance more than expecting it to be handed on a plate.
Get decent CV done and printed and visit firms face to face leaving a CV each time. I’d avoid Monday’s as manic at most place unless you wait till later in day. Try and get past any receptionist and get to speak to Transport Manager.
Plenty of post on subject so search and see how others did it
