Who is having the massive new warehouse / factory next to the A1 /M62 intersection … been watching it grow for the past couple of months ?
I did wonder how they got planning permission as it is right on the brow of the hill … fairly dominates the skyline.
Even having it’s own access direct onto the r/about where you go to Moto services … they are widening the lane off the r/about … I remember from many years ago, there was a sign on that lane for “Wandahome caravans”

I went past that earlier today, I’ve no idea who it’s being built for it’s absolutely huge. I thought the warehouses at Burtonwood were big but that takes the mickey.

TK Maxx are moving into it, not sure if it will occupy it all.

You seen the one near Donny, next to the M18 between J4 and J3… Thats massive!
Maybe that’s the one I’m thinking of then, it’s sits just proud of the motorway and looks about 1/4 mile long. Either way some of the buildings being erected nowadays are vast. No doubt sufficient parking for the hgv’s that will service these buildings has been overlooked.

The one at the side of M18 that has had “builder’s name” on NOW has new sign - NEXT !
Anyone know for definite who is having the new warehouse built at the Side of the M62,20-21 E/B, next to Asda?. I hear it’s the Coop.
If TK Maxx are having it there might be room in their crappy yard to turn around, I doubt if they will be any quicker unloading a container though.

New Pound world DC, built by Marshalls construction , ( premier road north , Normanton ) I went in there every week delivering drainage products.
The one off grovehall lane , ferrybridge roundabout is T.K Maxx , caddick construction, I deliver to the ground workers (Howard civils) in their everyday.
