I particulary liked the sound warning of vehicles in the blind spot.Things like this could become the norm in a year or two.
Never watched the vid, but some new cars have this feature now.
Had a Citroen C4 hire car last year, it had blind spot radars in the wing mirrors.
If there was something in your blindspot, a red LED would light up in the corner of the wing mirror glass.
Took me a while to work out what it was, but it’s a good idea.
And unlike most things to do with French cars, it actually worked very well.
Same car also had spotlights in the wing mirrors. At low speeds in the dark, if you put a certain amount of lock on, such as turning into a driveway/parking space or making a U turn, the spotlight on the side you were turning to would light, illmuinating the area to the side/corner.
One of them things, you wouldn’t think you needed it/wouldn’t spec it on a car, but having used it it’s a good idea and handy.
