New Video

Here we go a new cooking/traveling hybrid video.

One thing I’d like to say is the trolls will probably turn up. Ignore them, that’s what I’ve been doing. DON’T FEED THE TROLLS as a mod on Irish Rigs once said. Feel free to leave comments on my site though. Thanking you.

good video … sure you only had the one bottle of cider??

i really hate the A5 past up past chirk, especially those knobs in cars who think that the white line is to be under the car, not to right hand side of it.

Excellent as usual. That’s the way I cook my steaks, oil the meat not the pan. Looked good.

Top notch video as always luke,

Agree with you on the smash, Personally can’t stand the stuff just doesn’t taste nice in my opinion. Also adding cheese to mash helps to add flavour

Looking forward to the next installment!!

Cheers

Jonny :sunglasses:

  good stuff mate

Excellant as always Luke, give my best wishes to Bertie, always a pleasure to see a cameo from the main man!!

another top notch video :sunglasses:

Brilliant video :sunglasses:
Liked the comments on advanced motorists

Quote of the day from Bertie Legohead " get off, get off your stupid ■■■■■■■■ oh bloody hell"

These videos just get better and better, keep them coming Luke.

was’t the reasoning behind oiling the meat not the pan then ? that could be were i’m going wrong i never heard that before …

blimey have i just learned something from one of your vids luke ? :open_mouth:

Oiling the meat, and seasoning it, instead of the pan and getting the pan hot, really hot, before the meat goes in means you quickly sear the steak which gives it that caramelised, crusty outside while keeping the inside juicy and creates all the great taste.

The other thing is don’t keep turning the steak, turn it just the once otherwise it will toughen every time it is off the heat while you turn it, if you shake the pan and the steak doesn’t move it ain’t ready for turning. And as Luke said in the video, the resting bit is important as well.

Coffeeholic < ex steakhouse grill chef from way back.

Which way is the wind blowing today then…

brilliant as usual .

funny vid that
top tip…never put salt on meat before you cook it coz it draws the juice out

my sunday mornings arn’t complete without a catch up vid from you luke, although cabin fever springs to mind , steak ? i think a tin of stewing steak is the closest i’ll get !

M&S for your food. You put us all to shame. You should really know your place as a driver and go to Lidl.
Enjoyed the video and hope you are enjoying your extended break from TNUK.
Come back soon.

I’m bloody hank marvin now, could really do with a nice rare steak after watching that video.
Chicken for dinner today though. :frowning:
