Least your getting a brand new truck, you could be getting a hand-me-down where the previous owner has cooked and left fat and grease all over the cab, along with his previous dents and bodges etc :frowning:

Saw 3 of these 61 plate MANs today …2 on the back of a low loader being pulled by on old ec ERF and one being driven bobtail behind i was on the A51 Nantwich.

I quite like the look of the newer MANs, not enough to swap from an XL Globetrotter though :cry:

I know from your posts on here that your FH was set up quite well (for a little euro cab :laughing: )

We’ve had some new trucks and have some more coming home, so the drivers are doing some serious sucking up, I’m still acting the ■■■■ though as I want to keep my old one :laughing:

Depends on the Volvo, mine was a very high spec with all the toys, i didn’t want to loose it! The MAN is bigger but not as creative with the space!

everytime i stand up in the volvo i crack my head or shoulder on the front lockers, be ok if i was a midget lol :smiley:

I’m a short arse so found the Volvo ok, until the ■■■■ locked me out whilst I was doing twist locks, engine running etc… That took some explaining.
There I was, stood in a t-shirt, ■■■■■■■ down with rain, freezing cold, and did my HOBO bit by scavving a sweater off another driver who was laughin’ at my prediciment…

I like the top spec MAN though, the sub is good for relieving back ache :smiley:

turned out they were 460s in the end,still XLs thou. I got a few moans about mine but will keep em to meself.

Looks a nice lorry , way better cab then a FH , I had brand spanking new FH in 2005 had it 6 years and

wasnt anything special, cab lay out is dated , windscreen slopes in to much , it was ok but I am out four

nights a week and I would chose the Man cab anyday, apart from having two bunks like in yours.

1 French “unit” only. Personally I think it looks odd. But there is plenty of new German (Mercs) and Swedish (Volvo) rolling into the yard…

Hmm, You may have a point there! I lost my FH this week and got this, it’s ok comfort wise but 52mph ■■■■■ !
