That’s a coincidence just like mine. (well similar anyway)
Only I’m a cheapeskate, mine was a quid (still boxed) at a car boot sale.
Makes up for the fortune I’ve spent on 24v kettles over the years.
Does the job though Rob [emoji6] no more trying to pull out hot plugs or just running out of gas as water comes to the boil

Yep, it’s amazing what bargains you can pick up at car boot sales.
(Some bright spark I know spoiled it though…after asking how I knew that it hadn’t been ■■■■■■ in. )

Always keep topped up with gas canisters, otherwise you will get caught out like me just now in Scotch Corner layby when my cooker has died a death so it’s 4 weetabix for my tea tonight
Yep, I’ve had to resort to the ‘‘Dish of cornflakes and a can of John Smiths suppers’’ a couple of times in the past when something has not gone to plan.
Woke up this morning and went in my bag to get some clean boxer shorts out and i have forgot to pack them too so i am commando for rest of week. I’m usually so well organised
Wash the bloody things man!
Or better still get the wife to meet you in the car, and she’ll wash em and bring them back to you.
After all it IS women’s work …you’re welcome.
Given them a good soaking with febreeze, they’re like new now

How many weeks had you been wearing them ■■
Clean pair everyday. My sunday routine of getting my bag ready didn’t happen this sunday as i had tuesday off for a football match, so monday i left bedding and clothes bags at home in case unit was used by someone else and then on Weds morning i was a bit hungover from the footy, so i forgot to sort my bag out properly
