Well as you all know I failed the cat c test on friday the 1/10/2010
Got a call yesterday, with a new date friday 8/10/2010, I though great only a 4 days to wait…
3 hours later got a call, a mix up & its been changed to wednesday the 13/8/2010, i was angry but still not long to wait…
Got a call this morning…another mix up…no wagon or instructor spare…so test date now …20/10/2010… dont know wether I’m coming of going !
dont worry m8 it will soon be around. if you dont mind me askin how much is the training? i tried askin my training centre where im going for my assement drive but they wont tell me till i hav had the assesment done.
The lorry was bigger that i though lol, by day 3 I was getting the hang of it, some of the roads in the town centres & country lanes were very tight,
Take your time & dont panic lol & you wil be fine,
I had a 2 serious…too close to parked cars, & looked in the wrong mirror 1st when pedestrians were waiting to cross at an Island,
It will have drawbar equipment so they can attach a trailer for the C+E test i’d imagine yeah. Was just a little confused as I thought they only did the ECX as a tractor unit but having just googled it it turns out there are a fair few rigids knocking about.

They wont give you price as they dont know how many days you need as it not 1 size fits all some people need more than others its like asking how long is a piece of string this is why they have assessment drives to see how you can handle / confutable you are with the said vehicle
Nice truck koikeeper, its good that you’r doing your test in the same vehicle as you trained in-will you have an extra day training before your test this time
its usually 2 hours before the test, but because they kept changing the dates the have said start @ 8.00am …test at 1.30pm,
so about 5 hours practice, hope its enough lol

Its great that you have the extra few hours training /practise before your test, just keep calm & go for it - you should get it this time, Good Luck …Hey , dont forget to come back & tell us all how you got on
Yes the test is at darlington, through the town centre, around the country lanes (very tight ) & up the A1,
I cant complain about teeside transport training, they are very proffessional, Bill Smith my instructor is absolutely spot on.
