New style of roundabout coming to UK

If you stop were your supposed to stop on this style roundabout there is no problem seeing the cyclist in a rhd or a lhd truck as your not at the point were you start to turn the cab so they are in front and to the right of you (left over there) and they come from either direction and always have priority . They work well in Belgium and Holland but don’t see the need of them here

That makes no sense. If the cyclist is coming from the same direction as yourself but carrying on across the rbt when you are turning left, how are you going to see him? You would need to be able to look to your left down through the bunk which you obviously cannot do.

Don’t forget that In Belgium & Holland you’ll see the cyclist’s going round these roundabouts In anticlockwise aswell as clockwise which makes It even more confusing…

Calm down everyone, it’s a trial, it’s being tested away from traffic to try to pick up any potential problems. I’m sure the transport industry bods, as well as the cycling bods, will all be looking at it and putting in their thoughts & ideas. It’s nowhere near being built on our roads yet.
