so i have just landed myself a class 1 job on long distance tramping work, coming from only day driving i was wondering what kind of kit i will need to start my new job i know the truck is a daf xf

The essentials are…
Wet wipes
Clothes
Gas cooker and a couple of gas cans to last the week
Food (dry foods like rice pasta noodles etc)
Tea bags
Milk (if you don’t have a fridge you can buy little uht lactose free milk sachets, they do the job get them in tesco by the long life milk section)
Laptop & charger
Films
CDs
Knife, spoon, fork, tin opener
Washing up stuff (bowl, liquid, tea towel)
Personal wash bag (shower gel, deodorant, tooth brush etc)
Flip flops (don’t use services shower barefoot)
Stationary for doing paper work

Can’t think of much else I’m sure I forgot stuff tho
… Sat nav 
Oh and bedding for your bunk
… And truck maps

Go to tesco or asda and you can pick up a 5lt bottle of water for about £1.10
I always carry 2 of them and top them up at every opportunity
