Was up near VOSA test station castle gate at patrick green, leeds, LS26 8HE just off M62 Jun 30 a new snack van. Stopped and had a sausage egg sandwich. It was very nice and the van is really clean and she said shes just had the van made. Noticed she did hot sandwiches, pie and pies, burgers, chips and jacket potatos plus hot and cold drinks. You can park in the layby. The women asked if i could spread the word for her so here is my word.

Wasnt a sneaky free plug. I was delivering to af blakemore’s and stopped there for a sandwich. Told the women that id not seen her here before. And she told me she had the van made from new. And her first day was thursday and she would be staying there from now on. She asked if i knew a way how i could get more drivers to her as its just off motorway and about half a mile up castle gate. I said put a sign at the bottom of the road. But there is cafe in a layby closer at the other side. So i said that im on a drivers forum and i would put it on there for her. I said to her that i couldnt guarantee owt but she ask nicely

Having passed my tests at Patrick green I know the lay-by well and can confirm this is a new addition. Have yet to see vosa in that area that station is mainly mot station and where you go to pass your hgv test as far as I know it has no weigh bridge most vosa pull sites have a weigh bridge from what I’ve seen up and down

When I was at yeading test station last year there was one inside the grounds I bought a can of pop but was advised by the visa staff that it was manky
