Hi, finally decided to open a HGV park in Scunthorpe.
I currently run the lorry wash located at the former highways depot, brigg road, DN161AX
but have decided to open my gates at night to the hundreds of lorries parked unsecure in Scunthorpe every night.
Only been open 3 weeks but I offer clean hot shower, drivers lounge, use of the microwave and kitchen, manned 24 hours and CCTV in place for £10 per lorry per night, accept Snap, credit/debit cards and accounts for companies.
Please could you offer any suggestions as to what makes a great lorry park? So far we’ve had great feedback but room for improvement. What do drivers except and like to have?.
We have full flood lights over 60 spaces, do drivers want a flood lit yard overnight?.
