Saw this at Truckfest today on a tipper body, it looked brand new to me with no plates on it.

Nope but just looks like any other tipper with a scania body.

Well if you look at the drivers mirror, it has a wide angle lense on it and Scania only started putting that on their lorries in 2007 (unless of course it’s been retrofitted) but yeah…
the lamps look like the 4 series lamps
Theres a t cab in norway which is a 4 series with an R series grille on it, looks quite good and ive seen pics on the internet (so could be fake) of t cabs with the newer R series grille on. The new Longthornes t cab and the Coca-Cola t cab both have the R series grille on.

the SNT T Cab is a 4 series with an R series grille, so, that is nothing new
the Longthorne T Cab is a Highline, they didn’t make a Highline T Cab 
you can do anything with them, it all depends on how deep your pockets are
i have a pic from today not the best tho
I think there is a few folk out there who miss the T cabs and are taking things into their own hands and getting a cabover 4 series/R series converted by specialists. This could be one such example.
thats Strathore’s 6 wheeler. they have a lot of toys. The mk5 transit that was there has a cossie engine in it if i mind right, they used to, maybe still do have a few tcabs. They also have a monster truck like think. Im guessing this may just be a smart bit of workshop creativity.
I think they have something to do with Dalmore too. possibly just seperate haulage and construction divisions.

It’s got the LED lights above the window too, in the visor, these were quite a late on change on scania’s?

ESPECIALLY in tipper work 
Strathore have had that unit for ages, hes just done some work to its looks recently

And you must have some of the deepist pockets in the UK you tight old unt 
If you look at the first pic closely you can see its got a 4 series steering wheel.
Now that is sad that you no what the steering wheel is
It’s not new it’s got the pre 2008 grill for a start.
Looks like it’s just new parts. Seen a couple of these around.
That’s just a 4 series with a newer r series grill fitted, it’s got 4 series steps in front of the front axle.
