Magnum 520.25

Magnums going too mainstream :frowning: Loosing a very distinctive truck.

just looks like new volvo not as ugly as cant see the grill :laughing:

I think what has been learnt from recent months is;
If you see a new truck wearing disguise panels parked up, not only photograph the truck, try and photograph the tax disc as well (it’ll have the manufacturer written on it)

The step in the fuel tank give it away as a part Volvo product

Is it a geoff Munford vehicle from near York he used to have all magnums then switched to daf maybe this is trying to entice him back

Looks like BA Baracus has thrown a few ugly metal sheets onto the cab and welded it to an old chassis.

Well, that fell out of the Ugly Tree and hit every branch on the way down.

as iv said before on this forum… the new magnum and the new volvo will be basically the same… i know this because i know someone really high up in volvo and he let me in on the secret. and this kinda proves it…

Dunno but I saw a 62 plate magnum pulling one of their trailers yesterday.

That photo was in a copy of Commercial Motor at Keystone in Hemel Hempstead. Its the new Premium and Magnum. Apparently they are going down the same route as Mercedes and having one truck with more bodystyles to cut down on parts requirements. Which will be nice, because spending 12+ hours a day in a Renault Premium 6x2 Sleeper, I am struggling to figure out what is so premium about em.

Our Kate has been driving one periodically for the past few months.

Looks mighty nice, nothing like the magnum as of late. Strangely reminds me of the new Ford Cargo as seen in CM mag’.

passed it a few time running out of wales, wondered what it was , not a great looker at the moment ! ironic really ,the volvo FH has had a revamp & boxed it’s cab & got rid of the raked windscreen where as
the magnum is as it stands an iconic truck , big square cab & lots of room now looks as if it’s gained a raked windscreen :confused:

Not read other posts but this is running for Eurovision Logistics out of Hull. I see it regular its on the Mauri Yeast work, hence the tanker.

Its not a secret we’ve known for ages were going to share the same cab shell.

Steve

Least they’ve got rid of the ladders to get in to the cab.
