The Austrians have introduced a local night time ban on the A12 between Kundl and Ampass, for vehicles above 7.5t, from 1st November until 30th April every year from 20.00 to 05.00. From 1st of May to 31st of October the general night time restriction remains the same.
Oh great, so you can drive through part of Austria, at night, but not another part. That is going to slip from my memory by the time it comes in. I can see me getting caught out, again

perhaps they are right, i sometimes wish everyone did the same as them and the swiss, ban trucks driving at night, every night then again i sometimes don’t too.
