Hello BV1 OK today, one day at a time at the moment 
Anyway I’m led to believe that this cab and its tooling is going to be a ‘vertical integrated’ across the range affair and in time a version will available on the 7.5 ton chassis 
Think I will have retired by the time it hits the road though

we saw a few in germany throughout december, mainly demos, most of which were this colour, with the odd 1 in black.
Looks awesome! Really like what Merc have done.

Silver is the new white at Mercedes. All our new motors are silver (even the sprinter vans!)
Nice looking motor ALTHO its not a patch on the gigi space ,
thats a stunning looking motor, shame since the axor has been dumped and inc into the “actros” fold probably this what most bosses will buy !

i thought they were smart when i saw all the pictures, until this week, when i was tipping in Tescos at Purfleet, and this came in, it was fugly, side on it was amazingly similar to an Actros, althou you cant really tell in these pics. They are the dogs danglies on the inside thou.
the driver of this one had already ■■■■■■■ the drivers side mirrror.
Yeah but yellow doesn’t help it does it and having baron von spiklespank written on the front doesn’t help either.

The worst trucks I ever driven
Must admit, i’ve never been a fan of Mercs, drove the actros and the axor, both fairly run of the mill.
Haven’t tried an all singing & dancing mega space with a v8 and 2 pedal so can’t comment on wether i’d like that. The biggest issue I have with liking a truck and it isn’t the most important issue is the ergonomics of the driver’s station and the “rightness” of the buttons and switches and the like & if they will disintegrate and bits fall off after a month of use, I like to feel like i’m in a spaceship or a jet fighter.

Wow, that’s a bit different huh, would need to see one in the flesh before making my mind up, looks a touch overkill from first impressions tho, very in your face no doubt about that !!
I drove 11 plate Axor’s at Brake Bros Grantham, the ride was crashy, gearbox whilst nice had naff software meaning it couldn’t decide between 11 and 12 at 40mph meaning constant up and down changing for no reason (manual mode only solution), engine (430) had no torque in the bottom end on hills and was crap on fuel, seating was excellent and cab pleasant tho 
Worst suspension and ride I ever experienced in a truck, my current regular ride a 2000 scania 124L rides like a limo in comparison.
