New Member says High

Hello Guys What a cracking Forum

Have been looking in for a couple of weeks and decided to come on and say hello, I live in Redditch which is a dump of a town but originally i’m from Frome Somerset. I have worked on and off for Allely’s for the last 15 years with 10 years on Heavy Haulage moving Trains and big lumps of steel also worked for Steve Walker ‘Walking Floors’ for a couple of months and the now defunct Orford plant hire.

Went self employed 3 years ago as it suited me and at the time there was plenty of digger work as well, I have all my tickets for that as well. Out driving machines during the day and then on the Low Loader at night

Belong to the British construction equipment forum and a couple of guys led me to this forum and hence here i am.

I have been looking for work over the last couple of weeks and what has surprised me and made me  is how full of Sh#t the agency’s are. I have not fallen out with Allely’s themselves, just some of the people there leave a lot to be desired  I do not mind nights out preferably not 5 a week but 2 or 3 is ok so if anyone has any ideas i would be gratefull :grimacing:

In the meantime i will try and become an active member of what appears to be a humorous and :sunglasses: site.

4 inch foster when it was on iron wheels now back on rubbers.

Welcome exmayor.

Langdons have a depot in Redditch, i’m sure they would use agency drivers or you could try quoting direct as you are self employed and if you mention you do heavy haulage, i’m sure they’d let you loose with a fridge.
