Got to agree with you about Magnums N2N, I loved mine and that was a 2000 model with the 430 engine. 
im driving an 06 reg Magnum 480 at the mo,cant fault it really,ive only ever driven a magnum and a daf 95 xf and i must say the magnum wins hands down. There is much more room inside,has a fridge etc. The only negative i can think of in mine is the air con needs regassing!
My Boss had some of the early magnums, and they weren’t a good experience for him. Now Volvo build quality has insinuated itself at Renault, I may try and get him to pick one up in a couple years when my 105 is up for replacement.
