All the chicken you can carry smells it bit but still tastes like chicken…don’t all rush :unamused: :unamused:

Just the latest on this farce…It seems that the warehouse wasnt registered with the local council, it also has to comply with the Legalities for storage of food, temperatures, out of date stuff and storing and handling, the council only received the Application ( not planning but registration ) yesterday, and they are giving it the go ahead from today for the registration and the rest they will do as and when, so it looks like KFC will be re-stocked by the weekend.
NOTE: They are also going to pay all the lost revenue, all the lost wages, and re-instate any workers dismissed over this debarcle, and will give all members of the public, who have lost weight this past week, double portions to make up for it. btw, from the word NOTE, this is of course not true, but a light hearted look on things.

But would they be paying that rate if they weren’t deeply in the brown smelly stuff?

Good question.
Quit a full time job today.
Good dosh for a few weeks, then the offer of a “newly negotiated package, but full time” at less money??
Only guessing of course.

All this KFC and DHL stuff is fake news. When our local manager went to the KFC today, he found a DHL card, apparently the item(s) were too big for the letterbox so some have been left with neighbours (Wimpy and McDonalds), some have been left down the passage, behind the gate and in the bins.

All KFC staff need to do is look through the Pizza, Chinese, Indian menus stuffed through their letterbox to find the DHL non delivery card.

Would love to see a copy of a payslip!!! (If they actually exist of course   )
So WTF do they pay their CE drivers ■■ :open_mouth: :open_mouth: :open_mouth:

Food service Class 2 jobs for the big boys have always been pretty well paid from what I have seen. Here up north you can work direct for Brakes/Bidvest/K&N etc. and easily earn around £28k or so, so the wages posted here for agency in the midlands are believable.

It’s not unheard of for the rigid drivers to be on more than the C+E trunkers in some of these sort of set ups. Let’s face it, a guy who is good at multidrop food service is more valuable than a ten a penny trunker driver.

Haha made me chuckle this
