Well a year and 3 months after passing the coveted class 1 i have finally secured full time class one employment passed the assesment sat got the call today so starting Monday tyhxa for all your advise and help everyone

Cheers fellas gonna be a big ajustment havent done nights out for a few years but imm sure ill get back into it at least its 4 on 4 off so ill get loads of time at home

Congratulations, the steep learning curve starts now! Especially tramping I think it’s a good way of learning a lot about yourself and the job and pressure that comes with it being solo all week.

UPDATE
Well been to liverpool and manchester on training for a week was a very packed week but the training was 1 st class learnt loads although i have dont builk powder blowing but liquids are differant so 2 days training left then imm on me own looking forward yto it they seem a good firm

But you’ve also got the other side, you’re not rushing around trying to get back to depot at a reasonable time so, when you drive home, you get more than 4hrs sleep before gettin’ back to work.

I much prefer nights out on long shifts, than doing say a 15hr shift, driving home, having tea, shower, bed, up, brew, shower, back to work…
