How’s the job going Sam?? Got into any pickles yet??
Ye going good thanks mate just running round Immingham dock with a other lad for a week getting the loads ready so lots of reversing and swoping trailers all no pickles yet it is taking me a couple of shunts to get the reversing right tho just keep putting a bit to much lock on and keep steering the wrong way but I’m getting better with each reverse and had to do a blind side reverse today in the rain and dark not to fond of blind side reversing lol but I no ill keep getting better with more and more practice and I haven’t hit any thing yet so that’s good lol touch wood now ha ha
Sounds daft Sam but I’m well jealous lol…can’t wait to be doing what your doing

Nice one mate, just remember when reversing… Little and often 
you’ll be ■■■■ on before you get out on your own.
A bottle of glass cleaner spray, and blue roll are your best friends at this time of year.
KEEP YOUR NEARSIDE WINDOW AND MIRRORS SPOTLESS. Trust me, in poorly lit areas and certainly at night it makes a huge difference Sam. Especially when blind siding.
Hey Sam, if you see a white Premium with blue curtains with RADAR in the window, thats me!

Cheers eager and ye your bang on will defo be getting some cause I really did struggle to see were I was going when it was dark and blind siding it in but ill get there with more and more practice I think on Friday I’m in the yard for half a day just practicing reversing so I’ll just do it off all sorts of angles while it’s quite

Hi Sam , I’m in a similar position to you in that I started my new job last week and I’m moving trailers from one site to another and the one site is really tight going forward let alone reversing . It’s also tight when getting back to the main yard as the trailers are packed in fairly tight so backing them in is an art . Have to say though that compared to when I started last week I’m now mastering the curtainsider and the reversing is starting to sink in slow and gentle also turning the artic in a space not much bigger than itself is something new to me .
The more you do it the easier it all gets .
Are good like to hear people in the same boat as me every thing is going spot on with me but I haven’t got the reversing right yet lol can’t reverse to save my life today I no what in doing wrong to much lock and I’m Cocking it up when I’m chasing the trailer round but I’ve only been driving 3 days so Ill no it will come but I’m one of them who likes to crack things the first few days no its not going to happen like but I can’t wait till I’ve sort of cracked it

Keep at it mate, it’ll come. First few weeks you’ll be ■■■■■■■■ yourself in case you go down a road that’s a dead end and can’t turn round 
after a couple of months you’ll be comfortable, 6-12 months you’ll be absolutely fine. You’ll wonder what all the fuss was about then 
Think I saw you yesterday, did you get done around 4? And told to report in at 7 today and that you’d be with Neil?
I saw a white Premium tractor unit with two dudes in with Handtrans branding coming out the East gate around 4ish today in the dark, don’t suppose it was you?
