A large kit or sports bag to haul the bedding.
Foam ear plugs for noisy lay by’s.
Hand steriliser and baby wipes.
Cab polish.
Air fresheners.
Wash bag or basin to shave in.
Bungy cords for the Suzy lines.
Phone chargers.
Phone numbers for breakdowns/tyre call out.
Clip board to keep paper work tidy.
Kitchen timer to record tacho hours.
Alarm clock.
Toilet paper.
Camping gas cooker to brew up or cook tinned meals.
Hard hat, hiviz and steel capped work boots.

Fuel cards and cash for tolls.

If driving all day the body gets de-hyrdated.
At least two litres of water a day is needed.
Lidl and Aldi sell multipacks of water for about 45p per bottle.
On the Msa they charge £2 or £3 per bottle.
If you like coffee, a good quality thermos is ideal.
Truckstops charge about 50p to fill them with hot water.
If you buy Starbucks or Costa it will cost about £800 per year at their high prices.
At loading/unloading places ask if you can use the staff canteen at subsidised low prices.
A full fry up for £1.50 or a hot meal for £2.
A truckers atlas that shows low bridges is a must have item.
Some CD’s of your favourite music.

You cant remember, its been hell of a long time or you have a shocking memory :open_mouth:

Thanks guys. Box of matches is interesting. Forgot about earplugs

Pens & paper, good reading book or puzzle book, pish bottle, decent mug, spare sugar & milk if used, sense of humour, thick skin, patience of a saint, good pair of sunglasses, it gets low this time of year, kettle, teaspoon, headache pills, plenty fluids. I think you might need a bigger lorry! :open_mouth:

And a paaaaaaaaaatridge in a pear tree

That’s great thanks

Head torch is handy.

A towel and a bar of soap, smelly.
Also a large rubber patch, cause every T stop will have no plugs.

LOL I agree with you there mate
I don’t know where all the crap comes from :sunglasses: :sunglasses: :sunglasses:

I’d start with giving the wagon a through clean inside because you don’t know how much human slime has been deposited by the previous occupants over the last 6 years, also you’ll need, phone charger, phone/tablet/laptop with a high data allowance, sleeping bag/bedding, water container (i use a 25 litre), camping stove with spare bottles of gas, tinned food/dry food, funnel, water bottle, flask, brewing supplies, saucepan, plate, cutlery, bog roll and ■■■■ bottle.
