I’m starting a new job tomorrow tramping doing full loads UK .Anybody do full loads who can tell me what it’s like .I think you just drive , parkup and unload in the morning .Sounds like easy work for what I thought of a tramping job .Anybody do full loads ?
Yes some days,if its the big supermarkets not the small shops,normally 2 per day ,40+ cages of beer,pop,wash powder etc,then reload 75 empties,did 3 the other day,but ran out of hours,had to be recovered and ended up in a 17 hr day.
Been fine if I was a tramper,just parked up,but day shift they have to recover you as need truck for night shift,best of luck
