What a nightmare, they have dumped a flat bed trailer where you need to swing out with an artic, the man that picks it up told me the builders place steel on it,they put so much on it,the legs buckle and break, and for health and safety, some types of welding is not allowed on site.
Southmead hospital is off Dorian road,it will be built by 2014,i could not get out,the banksmen said we get big trucks all the time, the ones i saw there, were all short wheel based trailers, and 7.5 and 10 tonners,i had to reverse out.The guy in front of me had a twin axle trailer, easy for him.
We have had bigger ones in here and one of them only had one headlight.
At least they let drivers use the canteen that is on site.Only one way in,no turning.
We’re in there all the time, the place is a shambles tbh, but none of our lot have struggled getting in & out (driving 3 x 3), if they’ve got too much stuff piled up in there it can take a while to tip though.
Im in there alot with cut and bent rebar. no problems getting in or out with a 45 foot trl. just takes them 6-8 hours to tip. even though we have posted and strapped trls they still insist on building scaffolding all around the top.
