I had an automatic Category B & D licence and recently Passed test in Category C Manual
The Licencing Authority (NDLS) I am in Ireland are refusing to give me a manual licence in any category and have issued me with a
licence that is restricted (78) B,C,C1,D,D1 .
Any Advice welcome.
I was under the impression that a pass In a manual covered all classes.
Can’t see why it’s not all manual. Kick up about it. Pete 
Surely you should not be restricted on Cat C as you’ve taken the manual test ?

That have it wrong under EU rules
You must by law now have all in manual
This might help.
(10) Where a person has passed tests for a licence authorising the driving of—
(a)motor vehicles included in category B, other than vehicles included in sub-categories B1 and B1 (invalid carriages), having automatic transmission, and .
(b)motor vehicles included in category B+E, C or D having manual transmission, .
he is deemed competent to drive vehicles in category B which have manual transmission.
